I only decide to stop existing to people whose expectations of me are far more than I would ever want to achieve. Thankfully someone reprimanded me last year by demanding to know, "What do you care what other people think?" It was then that I realized how much I'd lived my life in fear of people and their opinions, and lost my identity along the way.

Your post was very thought provoking.

Josh, you're not the only one in this mess called self-discovery. I've been in the same boat for a while now, and was actually in the middle of writing my own blog entry about this very topic... coincidence?

Hang in there. You've picked up a new reader.
