This weekend was nuts…

Juggling three clients and ACM Conference took most of my time. Oh, that and… catching up with “How I Met Your Mother”. Not really catching up but more like starting and ending 47 half hour episodes. Delicious.

This weekend will definitely go down the history books as legen… wait for it…I hope you’re not lactose… dary.

Neil Patrick Harris, why are you so amazing, as a main character (Doogie Howser, M.D.), as a side character (How I Met Your Mother), and as a cameo (Harold and Kumar)?

Yeap. This is indeed a caffeine induced post. Oh, one more thing.

Randall Munroe explains Web 2.0. Or was it 4.1…

Randall Munroe Explains Web 2.0

Just to let you know, the 7 layers of OSI to the author of xkcd are:

Physical. Datalink. Network. Internet. Blogs. TCP/IP/UDP/PNG. MySpace (deprecated).

This man was hilarious. And not at all the nerdy nerd I thought he was. He reminds me of a friend of mine… You reading, Stephen?

Wow. I’m so screwed tomorrow morning. I’ve never gone to sleep this late on a work day. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Reflections|Projections 2007

Here comes the yearly fun that is: Reflections|Projections 2007. People that I’d like to hear from are…

I think all the other ones don’t really apply to me, but then again, I might visit them. Last year I got a chance to hear from Max Levchin from Slide and PayPal, and it was really interesting. I’m kinda sad I didn’t see Joel Spolsky of FogBugz nor Jawed Karim, the third YouTube guy.

Here’s to a wonderful, nerdy weekend!

A Funny Thing Happened Today

I was looking for my iPod while I was looking at my weather on my iPhone. I was like… where do I hook in these headphones.

Yeap. If I was on Jaiku or Twitter, that’s where a post like this should go.

But then again, Wordpress needs to get on the case… Come on Mullenweg, DO IT. The nerds are behind you.

Uh… What? Jaiku? Google?

Jaikido Blog | We’re joining Google

You know, I was going to talk about the status/”life streaming” services out there, as posted yesterday… but isn’t it a nice coincidence that this happened. I guess I’ll have to really try to get this post out by tonight.

But of course, who does this really affect (no, not pulling an xkcd)? Not a whole lot of people… just small group of an even smaller group of technorati who use these kinds of services to begin with. Of course, I knew Uncov would shoot back with yet another blunt entry.

I hope Google doesn’t pull another Dodgeball and make the cofounders unhappy.

But really… why not Twitter? Only time will tell…

More Sorries

Sorry, I had one of the most productive days ever. Too bad it didn’t include blogging the best blog entry known to man.

A couple subject matters that might materialize into a full-blown post:

  • Facebook Status vs Twitter vs Away Messages
  • Amazon MP3, iTunes Music Store, and Radiohead
  • More Rails Insanity
  • LCD TV + Wii + Mac Mini? Or to invest the money into something more… worthwhile?
  • Month in review
  • New diet/exercise regimen (AKA I’m sore like crap from two days ago… what the freak?)
  • Business Plans for HanMeta and FeedSt. What’s next?

I think that covers it. Hope that at least one of these posts see the light of day.
