From what I heard from the friendly cashier lady, there were 12 copies left besides the pre-ordered ones yesterday, and those were sold out. I was somehow able to come in at the right time (lunchtime, w00t) and just waltz out with the goods.

Let me tell you: This game… was made for the Wii. In another words: The wii was made for this game. But since the Wii came before the Super Mario Galaxy, the former statement makes more sense.

It’s cute. It’s friendly. It’s childish in the sense that it uses bright colors and is approachable. But really, it takes a more mature mind to appreciate some of the level design. I see lots of places where this game could have failed: camera angles, gravity issues, difficulty.

I’m amazed at how all of it is perfect. I have yet to have any issue with any part of the game play. The two player mode is superb.

And with that said, I’m going to take it easy. Easy does it…

Guitar Hero 3. Zelda. Super Mario Galaxy. I sure have a lot to play
